9. MY HOLIDAY!
Last New Year holiday is special for me. Every New Year is special for me because my family gathered and spend the holiday together.
I have 2 older brothers (I'm the only daughter<3). The first one is a doctor, his name is Widya Sakti Pratama. Our family called him Rambo. He lives in Surabaya, he is 26 years old (he's going to get married soon! Yippie!). And the second is a police, his name is Bima Sakti Pria Laksana, called Bima. Currently he lives in Semarang for studies. He's about 21 years old.
So, I always excited when new year's coming because I get to see my brothers. In our family, its so hard to find the moment that we get together and sharing about their own life.
Ok, last new year's holiday I spent my holiday at Bekasi and Jakarta. My real home is at Bekasi. My Dad planned to spent the new year's evening at Taman Impian Ancol. We left home at December 30th 2013. It was windy and rainy but we were lucky the weather doesn't ruin our plan.
December 30th, 2013
We left home at 16.00 WIB, lucky, we didn't found any traffic jam while we were on the road. We arrived at Mercure Hotel at 17.00 (very quick right?). And then we unpacked all of the clothes and etc. 20.00 WIB we got a special BBQ night from the hotel. There are so many food there. I can't even remember how many I picked. And then we sing a song like it was a campfire hahaha.

My Mom begged my Dad to buy her a flower since yesterday but my Dad not a typical man like 'that'. You know it. In the morning we left our hotel to find a good florist and then my Dad brought my Mom some bucket flower and he didn't forgot to brought a flower for the house. In the afternoon, we were so bored and just staying at the rooms. My expectation to spend the new year's eve at Ancol was we get to play at Dufan. But admit it, my brothers are old enough to sick because a round of roller coaster (suck).
In the evening, we prepared our selves to spend the last night in 2013. There were a special performance from 'Kahitna'. We can watch them at the Gala Dinner. Because my family isn't a big fan of Kahitna, we left the Gala Dinner and enjoy our time at the Garden near the ballroom. When the countdown has started, all of the people gathered and had their selves a mask, balloon, trumpet. The fireworks was SO FANCY. It was long lasting until 30 minutes but unlucky at that time the weather is windy so the dust of the fireworks got into my eyes. And then at 02.00 WIB January 1st, 2014 we sleep and checking out.
Actually I'm a little bit disappointed because of the hotel services. I mean its quite expensive for the service, and the events were not organized. And there were flood at the outside dining room (WHAT THE....). Ok so that's all my story. Bye!
